Foundation for International Business Communications commemorated the contribution of the Director of the RUDN Foreign Languages Institute to the development of academia and diplomacy

MOSCOW. A solemn event took place at the RUDN University Academic Council meeting: Elena Belyakova, Managing Director of the Foundation for International Business Communications (FIBC), personally presented a letter of gratitude to Natalia Sokolova, Director of the Institute of Foreign Languages, for her outstanding contribution to significant international events.

The cause for the award was the institute's active work at the International Municipal BRICS Forum 2025. The RUDN Foreign Languages Institute team, led by Natalia, not only participated in the business programme, but also organised two key sessions of the Forum.

The cooperation of the RUDN Foreign Languages Institute with FIBC continued after the Forum. On December 23, 2025, with the participation of the Institute, a specialised section of the "Dialogue Platform: InterUNI" conference was organised at Moscow Polytechnic University, becoming an important step in uniting student and expert communities.

The parties agreed to develop joint initiatives within the framework of the BRICS, SCO, and CIS Network Universities, to begin establishing International Linguistic Hub with the participation of Russian and foreign universities, and to launch new educational programmes.
