"Russia-China Expo" together with the series of business and cultural events "Days of Moscow in Harbin"

New vector of dialogue between Moscow and Harbin

 
​        On May 17-21, 2026, official "Days of Moscow" will be held in Harbin (People's Republic of China). It will become the site of a presentation of the International Municipal Forum 2026, which is supported by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government (VARMSU). The Government of Moscow acts as the Forum’s General Partner.
​        The agenda of "Days of Moscow in Harbin" will combine business sessions, round tables, "B2B Matchmaking", cultural exhibitions, and friendly sports competitions. Part of the events will take place on the sidelines of the X Russian-Chinese EXPO, and the Harbin People's Government will act as the partner of the "B2B Matchmaking."
​        The key vectors of the business agenda of the event include innovative urban development and smart city technologies; exchange of municipal health-protection practices; high-tech industries, transport and logistics of the urban environment; municipal diplomacy and educational initiatives.
​        Among the invited experts and speakers are representatives of specialised departments, municipalities, business circles, and leading universities of Russia and China. Major Chinese corporations and regions are expected to participate, including: China First Heavy Industries; China National Petroleum Corporation; China Chengtong Holdings Group; Aero Engine Corporation of China, China Mobile; China Energy Investment Corporation; Heilongjiang Beidahuang Group; COFCO Corporation; Kweichow Moutai; China Railway; China Southern Airlines; China National Gold Group; provinces of Heilongjiang, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Shanxi, Guizhou, Gansu, Hubei, Liaoning, Zhejiang, Sichuan, as well as the cities of Tianjin, Chongqing, Shenzhen, and autonomous regions (Inner Mongolia, Ningxia Hui, Tibet, Xinjiang Uygur).
​        Participation in the "Days of Moscow in Harbin" is an opportunity for partners to take part in specialised sessions in the areas of AI, IT, smart city, fintech, mechanical engineering and industrial production, health protection, integrated territorial development, and the work of technological and educational clusters. These open discussions will be held with the involvement of experts and business circles from Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, and other regions of China.
​        The business programme, within the framework of the "B2B Matchmaking", includes presentations of companies and the organisation of negotiations: direct B2B meetings on individual request; the possibility of concluding agreements and contracts; meetings with representatives of Harbin City Hall, business circles of the People's Republic of China, and participants of the Harbin Association of Science and Technology; a visit as part of the Moscow delegation to the Sino-Russian Industrial Park "Vanke" and "Harbin Vanke Smart Future City" - a centre for cooperation in finance, trade, and NTI, as well as a pilot area for the reconstruction of industrial zones while preserving business centres, cultural spaces, shopping malls, and residential complexes.
